My intention in offering these services is to support you in achieving your health goals.
Why Work with Me?
As a naturopath practising in Australia, I hold a Bachelor of Health Science (Naturopathy). I am a member of the Naturopaths and Herbalists Association of Australia (NHAA member number 158547). To be granted this membership means I have met the standard of education needed to join this association. To continue to be a part of this association it is a requirement that I complete many hours of Continued Professional Development (CPE) every year. This ensures I maintain a high level of education in the ever-evolving sphere of health science, and that all clients are treated with safe and ethical care.
I believe it is my responsibility to provide adequate, safe and ethical naturopathic healthcare and any concern that is out of my scope of practice will be referred to the appropriate practitioner. Following your first consultation, I dedicate time to delve into your unique case, crafting a customised healthcare strategy. This personalised plan is then unveiled during your subsequent appointment, which you'll need to schedule separately.
Your Responsibility
It is your responsibility to periodically check these Terms and Conditions for changes. If you have any questions or concerns, please email me before proceeding with your consultation.
It is your responsibility to ensure you have completed the initial intake form at least 24 hours before your initial consultation.
You are accountable for disclosing all prescribed pharmaceutical medications you're currently taking. Such medications may interact with certain herbs and nutrients, potentially posing significant health risks.
You are obligated to notify me of any adverse reactions stemming from the consumption of herbs or nutrients I provide. Promptly seek medical assistance and inform me of the incident once it's safe to do so.
Additionally, it's crucial to inform me if you are pregnant or attempting to conceive. Not all herbs and supplements are suitable during pregnancy. Disclosing this information ensures your safety and allows for potential adjustments to the treatment plan I prescribe.
Concerning the therapeutic alliance between naturopath and client, it's expected that the client will adhere to and apply the recommendations outlined in their personalised health plan to achieve optimal treatment results. Should there be significant reasons why the individualised health plan is deemed unsuitable, it's important to bring these concerns to my attention.
Important Information
Kindly be aware that treatment outcomes cannot be guaranteed as individual responses vary. Results are unique to each person, and any shared outcomes reflect individual experiences.
Before acquiring any naturopathic services, please note that for Telehealth (online) appointments, if herbs, nutrients, or supplements are prescribed, they will be dispatched via express post through Australia Post. The associated costs will be borne by the client.
The information available on my website is not intended for the diagnosis or treatment of any health condition. Any health concerns should be addressed with your healthcare practitioner.
Should there arise a rare circumstance wherein I am unable to render any service to you, I will promptly communicate this, allowing for the earliest resolution. This may entail rescheduling the appointment to a mutually convenient time or providing a full refund.
Indemnity
I do not provide any guarantees or warranties regarding the accuracy of the content displayed on this website, nor do I offer assurances about the products, services, or programs featured herein, except for any non-excludable consumer guarantees and other consumer protection provisions outlined in the Australian Consumer Law. Payment Terms and Refund Policy
All prices on my website are in Australian dollars which will be added at checkout for Australian clients or paid after the consultation.
It is also your responsibility to ensure you pay any outstanding invoices within 24 hours of receiving them.
For any appointment rescheduling or cancellations, I kindly ask for a minimum of 24 hours' notice. Should cancellation occur within this window or if you fail to attend a scheduled appointment, a fee equivalent to 100% of the consultation fee will be invoiced. If you need to rebook, please do so through the Simple Clinic booking link sent via email or kindly email me at liannapowellnaturopath@outlook.com.
Regarding services, refunds are not provided for changes of mind within 24 hours of your appointment start time. However, clients who decide to cancel 24 hours or more before their scheduled appointment will receive a full refund. To cancel your appointment and request a refund, please do so via the Simple Clinics patient portal or contact me directly at liannapowellnaturopath@outlook.com.
I take my obligations under Australian Consumer Law seriously and will do my best to address any issues that arise. However, even if there is a major problem, my liability is strictly limited to:
replacing the goods or providing the services again; or
if I am unable to do so within a reasonable time, refund the full amount that you have paid to me.
If you feel that there is any problem with my services please let me know within 24 hours of the end of the session. I am keen to understand what has gone wrong if you are unhappy so that I can address your concerns and try to find a mutually acceptable solution.

The content of this website and in all my courses/resources/eBooks is protected by copyright laws and treaties around the world, with all rights reserved. This means that you must not use, copy or make my work public without my permission.
